The Association owes a great deal of its success to its official publication
The Minnesota Police Journal. The bi-monthly magazine has become a model for law enforcement magazines throughout the nation. Simple arithmetic shows that a member's dues actually pay only a small portion of the benefits he or she receives. The bulk of the Associations income comes from contacting businesses throughout the state to sponsor acknowledgements in our magazine the Minnesota Police Journal as well as a telemarketing fundraising project conducted in the residential community throughout the year.

The MPPOA has hired a professional fundraiser to conduct all fundraising on its behalf.  Insight Teleservices, Inc., is responsible for residential telemarketing that is ongoing throughout the year.  Insight Teleservices, Inc. is the only authorized professional fundraiser to work on our behalf.  All of their contacts with the public are made by telephone and contributions are invoiced by mail.
